1.Horyuji Temple

it wooden pagoda is regarded as the oldest wooden building in the world.and listed as UNESCO Heritage sites.

The first temple I visisted in Nara is Horyuji Temple this temple is special because it wooden pagoda is regarded as the oldest wooden building in the world.and listed as UNESCO Heritage sites.historian believe this temple was built around 607 by prince Shotoku.

How To get there
From JR Nara Station I took another train to Horyuji station about 12 minutes cost 220 yen from there I take awalk about 20 minute

2.Yakushiji Temple

this Temple was built at the end of 7 century by Emperor Tenmu

Same with Horyuji temple Yakushiji also one of the oldest temple in Japan compared with Horyuji Yakushiji is a bit younger this Temple was built at the end of 7 century by Emperor Tenmu.The Emperor built this this temple as a gratitude for the recovery health of his wife.

How To get there
From Horyuji temple I went to the bus stop and took a bus to this temple

3.Toshodaiji Temple

listed as UNESCO heritage sites

This is another Temple in nara which listed as UNESCO heritage sites.the history of this temple back to 7 Century when a Buddhist monk fro Tang Empire (China) came to Japan and spread Budhism.The important building in this complexa are Kondo (main Hall ),Kodo (lecture hall ) used to as administrative building in Nara Palace.

How To get there
From Yakushiji Temple I took bus to here

4.Heijo Palace

this temple was built around 7 century by Fujiwara Family one of the powerful family in that era

Beside Kyoto later Tokyo which in history be The seat of Imperial seat in 7 century Nara playing main role as Capital for 84 year (710-794) unfortunately when the capital was moved followed by all residents this place was abandoned and all the buildings was lost.only one building which now we can see at Toshodaiji temple as Kodo (lecture hall ).

How To get there
To go to Heijo Palace from toshodaiji I chose walk It need about 25 minute

5.Kofukuji Temple

this temple was built around 7 century by Fujiwara Family one of the powerful family in that era

This is the last temple I visited in Nara this temple was built around 7 century by Fujiwara Family one of the powerful family in that era.when visisted this temple tourists ca see National treasure museum where artefacts from the temple was displayed.
the five storied pagoda in this temple is the second tallest five storied pagoda in Japan after Toji Temple in Kyoto.

How To get there
From Heijo place I took busĀ  and stop before this temple and walk
