Brief Introduction Lake Kawaguchiko is one of Five Lakes in Mountain Fuji area the other 4 are Saiko,Yamanako ,Shojiko,Motosuko.compare with other 4 lakes Lake kawaguchiko is more famous for tourists that is because is more accessible beside around the lake we can see many tourist spot.
How To get there
Kamakura-by JR Yokosuka Line for KIMITSU to Ofuna station about 7 minute-take JR Shonan-Shinjuku Line (Via Yokosuka Line) for utsononmiya about 51 minute arrived at Shinjuku Station (JR) –take Ltd Exp azusa 3 about 61 minute arrived at Otsuki station-then take Fujikyu railway for Kawaguchiko about 56 Minute.
From Kamakura Station to Otsuki cost 1,660 Yen and from Otsuki to Kawaguchiko cost 1,440 yen
Places Of Interest 1.chureito pagodared pagoda with direct view to Fuji Mountain
This is the most famous pagoda in mountain Fuji area.from the top I can see Fujiyoshida city and Fuji Mountain before rech the pagoda I visited a temple
How To get there
The closest Train station is Shimo Yoshida Station so before arrived at Kawaguchiko station I stop at this small Station.from here only about 10 minute by train to kawaguchiko station.
2.Sengen Shrine
dedicated to Princess Konohanasakuya, the Shinto deity associated with Mount Fuji
This old shrine is dedicated to Princess Konohanasakuya, the Shinto deity associated with Mount Fuji entered the shrine we can see beautiful painting in the roof
How To get there
From Kawaguchiko station I took bus to Sengen shrine it need time about 15 minutes the bus stopped at Kitaguchi Hongo Fujisengen Jinja-Mae Bus Stop in front off the shrine
Bus from Kawaguchiko station-Sengen shrine around 1-2 bus/hour
