1. Leshan Giant Buddha
The Must Visit place in Leeshan is Leeshan Giant Buddha this historical site has been listed as UNESCO Heritage Site and This Statue now stands as the tallest carving Buddha statue in the world.well we can see from the size this statue has 71 meters (about 233 feet) high, and 8.3-meter-long (about 27 feet) fingers and 24-meter-wide (about 79 feet) shoulder is large enough to be a basketball playground no wonder from the boat on the river we can see clearly this statue. The story of Leeshan Buddha statue began when a budhist monk name Hai Tong aware of the dangerous tidal in the rivers which causes many accidents and loss of Live believe the way to make river calm is to build Buddha statue.this work began from 713 in Tang Dynasty Era and Finished in 803 by his disciples
How To Get There
Chengdu-Leshan-emeishan Intercity High-Speed Train from Chengdu to Leshan Railway Station, and then change to bus 3 to reach this site. Admission Fee: CNY 90 (Excluding CNY 70 for a boat trip) Opening Hours: 09:00 to 16:50
2.Mt. Emei
There are many mountains in China but when people was asked what mountain they want to visit they will say Huangshan for the stunning view and Emei san for the beautiful view and for the religious purposes. there temples,monastery and religious cave for pilgrims here which worth to visit like Wan-nian Monastery, Leiyin Monastery, Baoguo Temple, Jin Ding Temple, Jiu Lao Cave, Pinnacle Lingyan,Bailongdong, Golden Summit.
