1.Maeklong Train Market
in the morning with shuttle bus from Travel agent we went to Maeklong Train Market.this market is regarded as one of the largest fresh seafood market in Thailand.wahta make this market be one of top list tourists when visist Bangkok because this market is located around active railway which connect Wongwian Yai, Bangkok, and Samut Songkhram in central Thailand along 67 Kilometre. we arrived early around 9.20 and walked around the market some of my friends buying food here at 9.40 there was announcement if train will pass quickly traders around railway spruce their merchandise just 5 minutes later the train passed.
2.Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
then we went to Damnnoen Saduak Floating Market according to history this is a canal dug which was built in the reign of King Rama IV to make transportation more smoothly in those days water transportation playing major role. Now when we go here we will see rows of boat lined on the river.before took a boat we will buy ticket at ticket booth close to river bank.people from travel agent said better buy the ticket from travel agent rather buy it direct from Ticket booth.one boat can accommodate 6-8 persons.during the trip we will see traders sells their goods from their boat from food,fruit,merchandise.
3. Democracy Monument
From damnoed Saduak Floating market we back again to Bangkok in the city I visited Democracy Monument.this monument is located in city centre.right in the traffic circle on the wide east-west Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, at the intersection of Dinso Road from here we can walk to Golden Mount the location is close. Democracy monument was built 1939 about 7 years after Siamese Revolution in 1932 at King Pradjhipok era (Rama VIII) which ended Absolutism Monarchy in Thailand and the beginning of Constitutional Monarchy.this revolution was lead by Thailand military.the leader of the revolution is Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram supported by other generals. Architect of this monument is Maeo Aphaiyawong brother of Khuang Aphaiyawong, a leading member of Phibun’s government around this monument we can see many reliefs which tell the history of Thailand the erson who made this is a Italian sculptor name Corrado Feroci who later became Thai citizen and took name Silpa Bhirasi. Until present many demonastrations held around Democracy monument.
4.Golden Mount Wat saket
Walk just 15 minutes I arrived in front of Golden Mount or Wat Saket this Buddhist temple is located in Pom Prap Sattru Phai district, Bangkok. Wat Saket also an old temple it has been founded in Ayyuthaya era at that time the name was Wat sakae.after King Rama made Bangkok became the capital of siam replaced ayyuthaya which was destroyed during the war.The King renovated the temple. there are 2 part in this complex the first we will passed Golden Mountain ( Phu Khao Tong in Thai Language ) a steep artificial hill inside wat Saket Compound climbing the stairs up we will arrive at Main temple.when I visited Wat saket I met many pilgrims some of them from other countries in the top we will find a huge chedi with Buddha statue.standing in this area we can see Bangkok ciy view.
5.Lumpini Boxing Stadium
King Boxing is one of Thailand Martial art some time we bit confuse is King Boxing is same with Muay Thai or different.For Tourist who want to see Thai Boxing there are many Stadium who held this sport during my Travelling in Thailand I found Bangkok and Phuket have Thai Boxing Competition. From Wat saket I took tuk tuk to go to Lumpini Boxing Stadium.Tahia Boxing is famous sport in Thailand better you buy the ticket advance.luckily I have bought the ticket by online before went to Thailand.the ticket to see the show is from 200-2000 baht depend of seat class There are two Big Boxing stadium in Bangkok Lumpini and Rajadamnern Stadium.I went To Lumpini stadium which run by Royal Thai Army.the rules in Kick Boxing is different from Boxing you can use both of your leg and foot to knock down your opponent.the show began from 6.00 PM to midnight but better w came after 9.00 PM in the beginning the beginner and young kick boxing will open the show th professional kick boxing usually perform after 9.00 PM or 10.00 PM .the contest usually held on every Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
